“We are wounded in relationships, and we heal through relationships.”

– Gabor Maté

Hello, I’m Jane

Therapy with me is warm, collaborative, and focused on real change. Whether you’re facing a major life shift, chronic stress and anxiety, or trauma, we’ll look beneath the surface at what keeps you caught in the same cycles, working with what your body holds, not just what your mind knows. Together we’ll build concrete strategies to help you feel steadier, respond with more intention, and reconnect with yourself and the people who matter most.

My Approach

I work from an attachment-oriented, somatic lens grounded in Interpersonal Neurobiology, Dr. Dan Siegel’s brain-body framework. (Phew, that’s a mouthful!) Simply put, your relationships shape your brain and body, and your brain and body shape how you relate. Healing happens when we work with all three, so every part of you is welcome here.

Together, we’ll get curious about how past relationships and experiences may still be shaping your life today, often through automatic reactions that pull you away from yourself and the people you care about. We’ll move in achievable steps toward where you want to be, at a pace your nervous system can handle without becoming overwhelmed or shutting down.

Each session meets you where you are that day, so no two sessions look quite the same. When it serves your goals, I might weave in Brainspotting to help process what’s held at a deeper level, such as trauma, chronic health issues, or feelings that are hard to put into words. I also draw on tapping, polyvagal-informed practices, mindfulness, and skills from DBT and CBT, including trauma-focused CBT.

Who I Work With

I work with adults and adolescents who are ready to feel more at home in themselves. Maybe old ways of coping no longer work, you’re hoping to strengthen your bond with your child, or you’re a teen or young adult carrying more than most people see. Together, we’ll explore what lies beneath the surface and make changes that feel doable and real.
